Trapped is a song about toxic relationships, and how our own fears sometimes destroy our bonds, even with the people we most love. Modern society is, in a way, more concerned about what-people-may-think than creating true relationships, and that makes us more insecure and easily manipulated by those who want to take advantage of us. That creates a never ending circle that cages us, and it takes a lot of effort to get out of our own trap.
